Femhack 2024

Fierce Foundry is the first U.S.-based venture studio dedicated to launching and scaling female-founded startups from impactful idea to successful exit.

We are a FemTech Venture Studio on a mission to close the funding gap for women by making FemTech startups more investable from idea to exit. We co-found companies alongside visionary founders, providing initial capital, hands-on product and business development, support through later-stage fundraising, and strategic guidance all the way through exit. Our end-to-end model outperforms traditional venture and accelerator approaches by deeply embedding with founders at every stage. This approach not only builds high-growth companies that improve women’s lives, it also unlocks outsized returns for investors by tapping into an overlooked, high-potential market with built-in demand and proven undercapitalization.

INVEST IN WOMEN.

When you invest in female founders, especially in FemTech, everyone wins.

  • For every $1 invested in women’s health, $3 is projected in economic growth

  • A $300M investment into improving female health could generate $13B for the global economy

  • Women-led companies yield better returns on investment (ROI), generating 35% higher ROI than men-led

  • Female-founded companies earn $.78 on every investment dollar vs. $.31 for male-founded.

OUR MODEL =

FASTER RAISES, EXITS AND HIGHER SUCCESS RATES

FIRST TWO MONTHS:

  • Define the problem, audience, financial models

  • Market analysis and potential ROI, persona development, competition, message testing

MONTHS 3-6:

  • Build beta or MVP

  • Present and assess product-market fit

  • Assess demand

  • Determine product roadmap

NEXT 18 MONTHS:

  • Build and launch

  • Focus on sustainable growth through tested marketing and sales efforts

CONTINUED CO-FOUNDING:

  • Support for future expansion with HR and Marketing, later-stage fundraising and, legal guidance through exit

Female-founded startups have a higher success rate, but only receive less than 2% of Global VC funding.

These founders are funded in the pre-seed stage by angel investors who are women but have challenges raising later-stage funds (managed by men) because of this.
